Easy Link Building Methods

Link building can be a real pain in the a*s but its vitally important if you are trying to get top search engine positions. SEO is a major part of my internet marketing business and over the years I’ve refined my link building techniques. In this article I’m going to share a few easy link building methods which work well and are quick to implement.

1. Social Bookmarking
This is probably the quickest and easiest way to get a backlink to your website. Services such as Twitter, Digg, StumbleUpon and many more make social bookmarking a breeze. All you need to do is create an account in each of these social bookmarking sites and then within seconds you can create backlinks!

2. Article Marketing
Article marketing is by far one of the easiest ways to get backlinks to your website. It can be a little time consuming but submitting article to places such as EzineArticles.com can have powerful effects on your rankings.

3. Blog Comments
Another easy link building method is to submit comments on KeywordLuv blogs. If you do this you can often build very powerful links on high PR sites. These types of links can be a little harder to get but if you search well in Google using phrases such as the example below, you’ll find a heap of useful places to get links:

“keywordluv” + target keyword

4. Use Your Own Websites
If you own multiple websites there’s absolutely no reason why your shouldn’t use them as link building machines. I now own over 500 websites and keep a database of the PR of each of my websites. Whenever I need a boost in the rankings I simply make a few links on websites I already own.

5. Paid Services
I’m a monthly member of The IM Advantage which is a paid service but well worth the price. I’ve been a member for well over a year now and have seen great results. The IM Advantage has a number of link building services included in the monthly price – they are extremely powerful – I highly recommend you check this membership out.

The easy link building methods I’ve discussed above are the ones I use regularly. They work well, all you need to do is take action and the results will speak for themselves.

  2. They are easy but in the future you’ll need to leave a better comment than this to get approved…

  3. Thanks you for sharing this unique idea. You are right dofollows has done a great job in creating more traffic in our sites and more backlinks as well.

  4. Could you compare/contrast IM Advantage with SEO Blueprint package? I’m currently in a trial of Link Juicer. I’ve seen some improvement in my rankings, but after watching the promos on the SEO Blueprint sales page, I checked some of the sites that were backlinking to my articles. All of them were random PR 0 blogs, which Blog Blueprint guarantees PR 3-5. If you were to choose only one, would you stick with SEO Blueprint or IM Advantage?

  5. Hey Ami,
The IM Advantage is more in depth. IM Advantage gives you access to everything in SEO Blueprint and more. One thing in IM Advantage that’s really cool is a tool called Bookmark Blueprint which uses social bookmarking websites to go and bookmark your blog posts, links etc – I use this tool all the time and its not offered in SEO Blueprint (they may include it at a later date). So, IM Advantage is definitely better but its also more expensive…if you are already earning a little money online I’d personally recommend you go straight to the IM Advantage…(in the IM Advantage you also get monthly updates about a whole lot of other cool techniques…) To learn more about this check out the following website: The IM Advantage
    Hope this helps Ami,

  7. What type of results and how quickly did you get them using IM Advantage? Have been debating whether to use paid services or not so any evidence of how useful they can be sure would be useful.

    Hi Geoff,

Without providing real “proof” about how useful The IM Advantage is, I will say that I’ve been a member since it started and NEVER questioned the cost – its well worth it for me – the tools alone are amazing, especially for SEO.

  8. On occasion, I still have people asking me if they have to submit there website to each of the search engines in order to get index. My response is “Got Twitter?”

  9. Great linkbuilding info. Do you use the link blueprint in IM Advantage? If so, how satisfied are you with it? I’ve tried a lot of “SEO tools” and haven’t found one yet that is nirvana :) Maybe I never will.

I also like your idea of using your own websites. Have you any experience with this on a single shared hosting server? Does it work at all? A little bit? One would think to maximize the effect of using your own websites that they would have to be on separate class C IPs. Any feedback on that?

Sorry, this turned out to be more of a question than a comment.

    Hi Bill,

I do use the link building plans in the IM Advantage but put my own spin on them and include other services I use as well…Im really happy with the systems I use and although they may not be the “Nirvana” they’ve worked well for me thus far…I think the one think about any link building plan is that time and effort are needed…nothing major ever happens overnight…

I use a range of different servers, shared servers and VPS servers so I have my sites on a range of different IP address which makes interlinking a possibility…I also use SEOHosting which gives me 5 different C Class IP addresses…
